Fortnite Update Today 4.04 Patch Notes – 17th October 2023

Epic Games has released a brand new Fortnite update today, 4.04, on 17th October 2023.

It’s been a week since Epic Games released the Fortnite 2023 Halloween update, Fortnitemares. The event saw the return of many items we’ve seen introduced in the game for previous Fortnitemares events.

We also had new items introduced into the game including the Wood Stake Shotgun and Thorne’s Vampiric Blade, a mythic item obtainable by defeating Thorne.

 

With the new season just over two weeks away, we’re only expecting one major Fortnite update to provide us with more content, v26.40.

That update will likely go live next Tuesday and details of what the patch will include will likely be leaked by data miners a few days prior to the go-live date.

In the meantime, it looks like Epic has released a new Fortnite update today, 4.04. For those wondering, here is what’s new in today’s October 17th, 2023 patch.

Fortnite 4.04 Update – What’s New (10/17/23)

Although there’s been no official word from Epic Games regarding today’s new 4.04 Fortnite update, we do have some information about the patch release.

The new files include the FNCS GLobal Championship Shop assets. That means the cosmetics can return to the item shop at any time. The bundle also now includes the missing cosmetics.

The revamped and Witchy Warrior augments have now been enabled. Here’s what each of the augments do:

Apart from that, there’s nothing else that has been added in the 4.04 Fortnite update. However, as previously mentioned, we should see the v26.40 patch, the final release for this season, release next week.
