It’s the time of year where the fun and vibrance of pumpkin spice latte season gives way to something even scarier, ghouls and goblins. As Halloween approaches, reach for candy on your local Costco shelf and dress up your device with these spooky iPhone wallpapers.
Spooky iPhone wallpapers
Like any other seasonally specific wallpapers, shrouding your Apple gadgets for the Halloween season is always fun. While I’m a big fan of autumn wallpapers with falling leaves in orange, maroon, and red, leading up to October 31, I go for a little ghoulish theme.
The following images were curated from unsplash.com, an online community of photographers that share (most) images in a license free gallery. Downloads are available in their original size, giving you the ability to set them as preferred. Each image is large enough to be a desktop sized wallpaper and remain “photo quality.”
My favorite of the collection is the silhouetted spider on an orange, red background. The canvas size is great for desktop, iPad, or copping down for an iPhone. The dark, moody color scheme makes for a great Halloween inspired background. If framed properly, the spider will fit very well, just under your iPhone Lock Screen clock and widgets, which would go well in a black font color.
